We Create Luxury Crop Event


A LUXURY CROP EVENT Sep. 7-9, 2018

Location: Oasis Hotel & Convention Center (2546 N. Glenstone, Springfield, MO)

Cropping Time:
— Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m. on Friday
— Friday 11 a.m. - 1 a.m.
— Saturday 8 a.m. - 1 a.m.
— Sunday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Convention center room will be locked each night, and crop supplies can be left at the tables overnight.

On-Site Store Hours:
— Friday 1 p.m. - 12 a.m.
— Saturday 9 a.m. - 12 a.m.
— Sunday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

You will be able to run a tab all weekend long by providing a credit/debit card to hold the sale on. When you are ready to checkout, you can put the charge on the card or pay cash. No checks accepted.

Table Space: Everyone will have their own 8-foot table. The two convention center ballrooms adjoin each other, and will be opened up to be one large space, so we will all be in the same room. Groups will be seated together.

Access To Electricity: Electricity will be available at all cropping tables.

Meals: Four buffet meals...Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, and Sunday lunch.

Gifts & Free Stuff: Scrapbook Generation layout kit, We Create logo tumbler and lid, We Create logo tote bag, and numerous scrapbooking products from top manufacturers. In addition, there will also be several surprise gifts and amenities from SG.

Activities: Free mini-classes and demos all weekend long, plus access to two or more photo areas.

Prizes: There will be numerous door prizes from both SG and the leading industry manufacturers.

Hotel Accommodations: You are responsible for booking your own hotel room, if needed. When it is time to register, we will have information for you about lodging at the Oasis, and at other hotels nearby.

Drinks and Snacks Other Than The Following: We will provide ice water at all times, iced tea will be served with meals, and we are allowed to provide you with a small amount of chocolate and as a welcome gift. You will be responsible for any additional beverages and snacks.

Breakfast: Most hotels will provide a free breakfast, but it will depend on where you stay. (The Oasis has a complimentary breakfast for paid hotel guests only.)



Where To Register: All registration will take place online at scrapbookgeneration.com. No phone, in-store, or email reservations will be accepted.

When To Register: Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. (central standard time) on January 3, 2018.

How To Register: Pay a $100 (non-refundable) deposit or the full $250 registration fee online. If you are part of a group of two or more, please come up with a unique group name. We will use this name for our seating charts, and all members of your group should use your group name to guarantee you are all seated together. We also recommend registering as a group, with only one person registering the entire group to ensure everyone gets a spot. If the event sells out before everyone in your group is registered, unfortunately there will be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING we can do about it.

To add the “We Create Luxury Crop Event Registration” to your cart, you will be asked to submit an answer about your seating arrangements. If you are:

    -- an INDIVIDUAL with no special seating requests, you will enter the word SINGLE .
    -- an INDIVIDUAL and would like to to sit with another individual, you will enter their full name.
    -- an INDIVIDUAL and would like to sit with a specific group, you will enter the GROUP NAME.
    -- a GROUP (paying for more than one deposit/fee), you will enter the GROUP NAME. We will contact you for the individual names you paid for in your group. After the initial deposit is paid, each individual will be responsible for their remaining registration fee.

Payment Amounts: The event fee is $250. You have the option to pay the event fee in full or to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. If you choose to pay the full $250 up front, your reservation is complete and you don’t need to do anything further. If you choose to pay the $100 (non-refundable) deposit, your reservation is on hold. The remainder of the fee is due by May 1st. We will contact you with payment options, including the option to set up automatic payments. If the full $250 fee is not received by May 1, your deposit and spot at the event will be forfeited. Once the entire fee is paid, your reservation is complete.

Cancellation Policy: The $100 deposit portion of everyone’s fee is non-refundable. If for some reason you find yourself unable to attend, the following refund schedule will be followed:

    -- by June  7, 2018, you will receive a $150 refund
    -- by July 7, 2018, you will receive a $100 refund
    -- by August 7, 2018, you will receive a $50 refund
    -- no refunds will be issued after August 7, 2018

ALL REFUNDS will be issued to you as a store credit at scrapbookgeneration.com or the Springfield store. There will be no cash/credit card/gift certificate refunds.


How To Add Your Name: In the event of a sell out, a waiting list will be started on a first come, first served basis. To add your name to the waiting list, please email stacey@scrapbookgeneration.com and use the subject line We Create Waiting List. If there is a cancellation, we will notifiy you via email and you will have 24 hours to respond before we move to the next name on the list.



Booking A Room: When you have finished the registration process, the next step would be to book your room, if needed. Reserve a room at the Oasis Convention Center by calling 417-866-5253 and telling them you are with the Scrapbook Generation event. The group rate is $104 per night, and can only be accessed by phone reservations.

If for some reason you choose to stay elsewhere, there are two other hotels on the same side of the road (Glenstone Ave.) and directly to the north of the Oasis. They are Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn. There are seven other hotels on the opposite side of the road - DoubleTree Hilton, Fairfield Marriott, Drury Inn, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Econo Lodge, and Best Western. There is quite a range of prices, including double rooms as low as $70 among these hotels.

Group Communication: In February, a new Facebook group will be created for those who have registered. This will allow us to discuss We Create matters without overwhelming the regular Scrap Squad group.

Age Requirements: All those attending must be at least 18 years old.

Accepted Forms Of Payment: Credit card, PayPal, and Scrapbook Generation online gift certificates are acceptable forms of payment. Money orders will NOT be accepted. Physical gift cards from the Springfield store can NOT be used online.

Discount Codes: NO SG REWARD CODES can be used to discount the cost of the registration fee. If you apply an SG Reward Code to your shopping cart, the registration fee will not be considered paid in full and the reward code will be forfeited.

Partial Crop Pricing: There are no options to pay for only one or two days of the crop. The full event price is required even if you can only attend for a partial amount of the crop time.

Table Sharing: There are no options to share a table with a non-paying event member.

Class Attendance: Classes can only be attended by paying members of the crop.
